Jean-Claude Labrune founds Cegedim (for CEntre de GEstion, de Documentation, d’Informatique et de Marketing) with initial vocation to pool pharmaceutical companies IT resources and document research expertise.
Launch of first databases.

Launch of CRM activities in France.

International expansion begins.

Launch of the first platform of electronic data interchange for healthcare actors.

Start of doctors’ computerization in France and promotional activities dedicated to  doctors and pharmacists.
Launch of human resources management activities.

Cegedim has been listed on the Paris second market and is now listed on NYSE Euronext Paris, compartment B.

Cegedim turnover exceeds €500 million and its operating profit exceeds €60 million euros.

Cegedim employs 8,000 people in 80 countries. International activities represent more than 50%
of full-year turnover.
