Cegedim Compact
To this end, the Cegedim Group launched its sustainable development program in September 2008 at the behest of its senior management.
Called the Cegedim Compact, it is based on the Global Compact of the United Nations.
The Cegedim Compact includes 12 principles based on those of the Global Compact and Cegedim’s business activities. The principles aim to:
- 1-Eliminate all forms of forced and compulsory labor
- 2-Condemn work by children under the age of 15, except for training
- 3-Eliminate all unlawful discrimination with respect to hiring and job performance
- 4-Promote individual success
- 5-Ensure a favorable working environment at all company sites
- 6-Promote local employment and respect local laws
- 7-Take initiatives in favor of more responsible environmental practices
- 8-Fight corruption in all forms
- 9-Guarantee the security of the Group's assets and those of its clients
- 10-Ensure the confidentiality of client data
- 11-Respect Data Privacy Laws at the global level
- 12-Control travel
These principles are implemented by a dedicated team using a three-year action plan that covers all Group entities. The plan has been continually updated since 2008, and more than 110 actions have been completed to date.
